frank is not to blog as blog is to frank
frank is feeling bad. frank is realising just how little time and dedication he spends on his ever so important blog. frank is writing as if each sentence is a facebook status update. frank does this because he is a fb junkie.
i've said before i think that i blog because it is beneficial to my health. it is my outlet. or one of them anyway. so, the reason i am feeling bad should now be apparent. blogging benefits me, but do i repay blog by benefiting it? am i a thankful grateful person, or am i selfish, heartless and just taking advantage of blog-medium? i'm a user.
no doubt you are too. think about it. login: username: ah! user name. user. name. USER. one is shamed because this exploitation is not something that one alone does; this is almost universal! i had the pleasure this evening of reading a little piece written about feminism. females have been exploited, but i do believe that the sexes are now at a reasonably equal level. of course i'll always be a male so i can't rightly say, but that is my here-stated opinion. blogism is something else however. there is no doubt that blogs do not have equal rights in this user-orientated domain.
blogs are used. this post has the potential to go on and on and on. i have that much crap in me.
however i am thinking of my blogs rights - and now, being someone who has woken up to the blatant exploitation of blogs, i cease.
i allow my blog some space. i give it some time alone, as well as some quality time with friends. i give it the right to have life. i will post this on facebook to publicise the cause of blogs.
i ask my blog to give me its opinion. if my blog wants to give its opinion. i allow my blog to go on holiday over easter. christmas too if blog wishes. perhaps my blog does not 'do' christian festivals'. i will apologise if any offense was caused.
speak to me blog. i will listen
